Greys Anatomy Book Tag

Image
So I saw this tag over of Mari's blog (Musings of a Book Girl) and knew immediately I needed to do this one! I have been watching Grey's anatomy since like seasons 4, and will likely continue to watch it until the bitter end. I am behind on this season, but plan to binge catch up with it at some point.  I will admit that I am not as in love with the show anymore, but I am still a fan and love some of the story lines! Meredith Grey: A Character that Never Gives Up I think the first characters that come to mind are the crews from pretty much any of Rick Riorden's books . These characters go through task after task and keep pushing forward. I think that Annabeth Chase would get my pick for most resilient currently! Derick Shepard: A Book with a Love Triangle. I looked at my shelves and there are like 8 books with love triangles that I immediately see, but the one that jumps out at me is To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Hahn. I think

Top Ten Tuesday: Spring 2019 TBR

Image
Well here we are with another Top Ten Tuesday! As always its hosted by Jana  over at That Artsy Reader Girl, so you can head over and check out some other lists! This week I actually have ten books! TBR lists are always the easiest for me to make because there are so many books I want to read. That being said, I am a total mood reader, so check back for my summer TBR to see how many of these reappear! 1. Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid - Okay, so I fell hard onto the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo hype train last year  and since then I have been slowly working my way through everything else she has ever written. That being said, there is no surprise that I am super hype for this book, I don't really know a lot about it, but I kinda like it that way! 2. My Plain Jane by The Lady Janies - Okay, so I have been wanting to read this forever! I love My Lady Jane and have been putting this one off because I haven't read Jane Eyre yet and I am determine t

Lets Talk: the mermaid's voice returns in this one

Book: the mermaid's voice returns in this one Author: amanda lovelace Published: May 5th, 2019 My rating 4/5 Stars Goodreads Okay so let me start off by saying that I have never been a huge poetry lover and it has always been difficult for me to get into things written outside of standard prose. This being said, I fall hard for the traps of things that are overly hyped up and when the princess saves herself in this one first came out I was hearing about it everywhere, so of course I had to buy it. Let me tell you I fell in love. I think I want to write a post eventually about my love for this collection and what I have done with my books, but I'll save that for another day, today I want to specifically talk about the mermaid's voice returns in this one. This book legit had me hooked from page 9 and crying by page 22. Amanda Lovelace is able to tackle such giant issues with such grace, but doesn't make light of any of the issues. I like poetry I can unde

Top Ten Tuesday: Standalone that Need a Sequel.

Hey Friends! I love these Top Ten Tuesday Lists (As Hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl ) but I will admit this one was hard for me! I love a good standalone, and I likely read more of them than I do series, but there are a few characters I would love to revisit the characters from! While writing this list I have realized that there are not many books that I want sequels for, so enjoy this list of the four books I would love sequel too. 1. The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord - Okay so this one is a little bit of a cheat, because we are getting a sequel, but Max and Paige are my babies and I have wanted to see more of them since I first started reading this book! I am so excited to see what happens to them moving forward! 2. Every Last World by Tamara Ireland Stone - Okay, so this book is probably one of my favourite books of all time.  Sam was a character who I connected with immediately and I would love to see more of her story, or even just more of Poet's Co
